“Seven people are already known to have been killed and eight wounded… these are the preliminary consequences of today’s strikes on Druzhkivka”, - said Head of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration Vadym Filashkin on February 4.
Russian troops shelled the city with cluster munitions. The strike hit directly on the market, where there is always a large crowd of people in the mornings.
“This is yet another deliberate war crime and further proof that all russian statements about a ‘ceasefire’ are worth nothing. The final number of victims of this attack has not yet been established — I will report significant updates separately. All responsible services are working on site: providing assistance to the injured and eliminating the consequences of the shelling”, - Filashkin said.
In addition, the enemy dropped two aerial bombs on Druzhkivka. An industrial zone, three apartment buildings, and three private houses were damaged.
