“At night, the enemy carried out a massive attack on Odesa with strike UAVs. As a result of the shelling, an infrastructure facility, residential buildings, a kindergarten, a shop, and a construction site were damaged. Twenty-two people were injured, including 14 with minor injuries who received assistance on the spot”, - said Head of the Odesa City Military Administration Serhii Lysak on Telegram on January 27.
The Odesa Oblast Military Administration reports that part of a residential building was destroyed in the Khadzhybeiskyi district of the city. Preliminary information indicates that people may be trapped under the rubble. Search and rescue operations are underway.
At other locations, specialists of the State Emergency Service freed people from premises, including a child. Many residents have been evacuated.
According to Lysak, all emergency services have been working at the impact sites since the night. Operational headquarters have been deployed. Housing and communal services workers are eliminating the consequences of the attack. Residents of the affected buildings are being assisted with paperwork to receive compensation under the state eVidnovlennia program, as well as from the city budget.
