“The President of Ukraine has officially received from the American side a draft plan which, according to the American side, may activate diplomacy”, - the Office of the President reported in its Telegram channel on the evening of November 20.
It is noted that “the President of Ukraine outlined the fundamental principles that are important for our people, and following today’s meeting, we agreed to work on the points of the plan in such a way that it would bring a worthy end to the war”.
It is emphasized that “Ukraine, from the first seconds of the russian invasion, has been striving for peace and supports all substantive proposals capable of bringing true peace closer. Since the beginning of this year, Ukraine has supported President Trump’s proposals to put an end to the bloodshed”.
“We are ready even now to work constructively with the American side and with our partners in Europe and around the world so that the result is peace. The President of Ukraine expects in the coming days to discuss with President Trump the available diplomatic opportunities and the key points necessary for peace”, - the Office of the President noted.
It was previously reported that European leaders oppose the new US plan.
