“Tomorrow there will be a meeting of the UN Security Council, during which one of the main topics will be today’s horrific shelling of Ternopil and other cities, as well as Ukraine’s energy security. These crimes will also be in the focus of attention at tomorrow’s meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council”, - writes Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on November 19.
He also urgently appealed to foreign partners and international organizations for additional assistance for Ternopil and other affected cities.
Sybiga emphasized that the escalation of russian terror shows that only strength and consistent pressure can stop the aggressor.
“We need additional sanctions and more air defense systems and weapons for our military. We are working on this with international partners”, - the diplomat noted.
“All our embassies will lower their flags tomorrow and open condolence books”, - Sybiga added.
As reported, in Ternopil 25 people have already been killed, including 3 children. Another 73 people were injured.
