“In Pokrovsk, urban battles continue with enemy groups that, thanks to their numerical superiority in forces and equipment, have managed to penetrate the city and gather in various parts of the settlement”, - reports the 7th Airmobile Corps on October 27.
According to reports, on October 25–26, Ukrainian warriors destroyed about 40 russians in Pokrovsk.
“The occupiers who got into the city are not trying to consolidate their positions but intend to advance further north. By doing this, the enemy wants to disperse our defensive forces and block the land logistics corridors to the city. Therefore, for now, there is no question of full control over any district of Pokrovsk”, - the report states.
The military notes that the enemy is able to monitor movements both in Pokrovsk and in Myrnohrad. Rotation of personnel is difficult and occurs with significant delays. Logistics are limited. Both aerial and ground drones are used to deliver necessary supplies, the 7th Airmobile Corps noted.
It is reported that, at the same time, the occupiers are conducting classic massive assault operations along the entire defense line of the 7th Airmobile Corps. The goal is to break the defense of Ukrainian forces, push the front line closer to Pokrovsk and Mirnograd, and gradually establish full control over the districts of both cities.
“In total, on October 25–26, the occupiers carried out 42 attacks along the entire defense line of the 7th Airmobile Corps. The russians did not achieve any of their objectives. Ukrainian warriors destroyed 64 occupiers, 4 armored vehicles, 2 motor vehicles, and 6 motorcycles. Repelling the massive assaults was possible thanks to coordination between units within the 7th Airmobile Corps defense zone as well as with neighboring units from the 1st NGU ‘Azov’ Corps sector”, - the military reported.
Earlier, Zelensky reported enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups and logistical problems in Pokrovsk.
