In the Kharkiv oblast, as a result of shelling by the russian army, five people were killed and three more were injured. The police are documenting the consequences of the war crime, according to law enforcement officials.
“On July 29 at around 10:38 a.m., russian troops struck, presumably with a multiple launch rocket system, the village of Novoplatonivka of the Borova territorial community in the Izium district. The area of the fire is being clarified. According to preliminary data, five civilians were killed as a result of the shelling, and three others sustained injuries of varying severity”, - the Kharkiv oblast police reported.
Investigators have opened a criminal proceeding under Part 2 of Article 438 (war crimes) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The head of the Kharkiv oblast police, Petro Tokar, told “Suspilne” that the village residents had gathered near a store to receive humanitarian aid, namely water.
