A representative of the German agency stated that “other NATO member countries have also expressed their willingness to join the financing”. At the same time, the origin of these systems and further delivery details are currently the subject of additional consultations.
“The exact mechanisms will be coordinated with the participation of representatives from NATO, the U.S., European allies, Ukraine, and the industry”, - the representative noted.
During the negotiations on July 14 at the Pentagon, u.s. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius agreed that a group of experts led by the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) should urgently convene to clarify the details.
