"On July 16, russia dropped an aerial bomb on the center of Dobropillia in the Donetsk oblast — when people were returning from work. The strike hit the area near the Avrora store. There are dead and many injured. Rescuers, medics, military doctors are working — the local hospital cannot receive everyone", - reported Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets.
According to the head of the Donetsk oblast administration Vadym Filashkin, as of that moment, 2 people were known to be dead and 14 injured.
"Russians once again deliberately struck where it’s always crowded — a shopping center in the city center. This time they used a 500-kilogram aerial bomb. Preliminary estimates report 30 damaged retail outlets, 6 apartment buildings, and 8 vehicles. It’s likely that people are still trapped under the rubble — the search for survivors continues", - Filashkin informed.
