Iranian agency Tasnim reports on X that six nuclear scientists were killed as a result of Israeli strikes.
The following names are listed: Abdolhamid Minuchehr, Ahmadreza Zolfaghari, Amirhossein Feki, Motalleb Blizadeh, Mohammad Mehdi Tegranchi, and Fereydoun Abbasi.
Israeli media also report that the Israeli Air Force completely destroyed a nuclear facility in Natanz.
At the same time, the IAEA reports that the uranium enrichment plant in Fordow and the nuclear facility in Isfahan were not affected by the Israeli attack.
The IAEA also notes that it is “closely monitoring the extremely troubling situation in Iran” and is in contact with Iranian authorities and inspectors in the country regarding radiation levels. At the Natanz facility, which was also one of the targets, no increase in radiation levels was observed, according to Iranian authorities cited by the agency.
