U.S. President Donald Trump last had a “good” conversation with russian dictator vladimir putin. This was reported by Channel 24, citing Trump’s words on the Pod Force One podcast.
Trump and putin spoke by phone on June 4. Their conversation took place following a lightning-fast attack by the Security Service of Ukraine on russian airfields. The state leaders also discussed other topics besides the russian-Ukrainian war, in particular the issue of Iran’s nuclear program and Trump’s involvement in negotiations with Tehran. The conversation between Trump and putin lasted more than an hour.
The U.S. President believes that the communication with putin that day was “good”. He once again said that there is a “brutal war going on in Ukraine and nothing like this has happened since World War II”.
Regarding the outcome of the conversation with the russian dictator, Donald Trump kept it brief. According to him, putin “said what he wants and what he doesn’t want”.
“We had a good conversation, but nothing has come of it so far”, - the American leader commented.
By the way, Trump deleted his first post about the conversation with vladimir putin from his social network Truth Social, but later re-posted it without changes. At the time, the U.S. President noted that russia was planning to respond to the Ukrainian attack on the airfields, during which aircraft were destroyed. Putin supposedly personally warned Donald Trump about it.
