The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine refuted the statement of the Federal Service of Russia on the elimination of Ukrainian intelligence network that was preparing terrorist acts on the peninsula. It was stated by speaker of Ukrainian General Staff Vladislav Seleznyov, - reports Radio Svoboda.

He called such statements to be a provocation act. "FSS waited for four days and then there is information that spread in social sets. But just yesterday the representative of MID of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine Vadym Skibitskiy made a statement that the FSS conducted anti-terrorist exercises in the occupied Crimea. It is possible that this message (by Russian FSS - Ed) fits the information content of theseexercises," - said Seleznyov.

Earlier the FSS said that they had detained a group of Ukrainian citizens who allegedly had been preparing attacks in the occupied Crimea. Russian security officers made up that allegedly Ukrainian subversive groups tried to penetrate Crimea under the cover of  armoured vehicles and massive shellfire.
