Turkey is ready to take on part of Ukraine’s reconstruction in regions affected by the war. The first tenders will be announced in April-May. As noted by turkiyegazetesi, Ukrainian authorities are accelerating recovery efforts and have already presented the Turkish side with a dossier of projects scheduled for implementation this year.
In 2025, tenders will be launched for the modernization of customs checkpoints, the construction of highways, and the creation of a toll road system. The list also includes energy, energy efficiency, social housing, and water supply. Earlier, during a meeting with Zelensky, Erdoğan confirmed that Turkish companies are prepared to assist in rebuilding the country after the war.
