Ukrainian National Council of Donetsk and Luhansk regions is getting ready for registration in Ukraine, its main objective is defending the country's territorial integrity. Activist of UNCDLR Tatiana Zarovnaya told about that in her comments to OstroV.
"Initially we thought that it would be something like Majlis As a result, wedecided to register at the moment informal organization Ukrainian National Council of Donetsk and Luhansk regions as a social organization or social movement in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine according to the law," - said T.Zarovnaya.
According to her, on August 3rd Kiev hosted an open meeting durring which the main document of the organization discussed – Project charter prepared by lawyers. "It was amended and clarified. We have decided that our main priority is the return of control over all territories to Ukraine, restoration of territorial integrity within the borders that were before the military aggression in Donbass," - said the activist.
The organization also supports the idea that Donbass is not only formally Ukrainian by meaningfully and mentally. "We intend to defend the interests of the state – national state, its cultural interests. There are the following tasks: restoration of the rights of Ukrainian citizens violated as a result of the aggression in the Donbass," - said T.Zarovnaya.
UNCDLR activity provides the work in several areas, including t protection of the rights of internally displaced persons; people remaining on the uncontrolled territory of Donbass and in the "grey zone".
According to the internal document of the organization - Manifesto, any person who wants to become a member of UNCDLR is obliged to agree with the points of the Charter.
According to Tatyana Zarovnaya, Charter of the organization will be announced in the near future.
