In Nikopol, the Dnipropetrovsk oblast, on the evening of September 11, during the extinguishing of a fire, rescuers came under enemy fire. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on the morning of September 12.
"On the previous evening, rescuers were extinguishing a fire in the private residential sector of the city, which was caused by a russian drone strike. At that time, the enemy launched a repeat attack, hitting a fire and rescue vehicle. Fortunately, the rescuers managed to take cover in a safe place. After waiting out the danger, the firefighters extinguished the fire over an area of 60 square meters", - the statement said.
It is specified that 5 rescuers and 1 unit of firefighting equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences of the enemy attack.
