On the night of August 1, the enemy launched a rocket strike on one of the railway stations in the Kharkiv oblast. A conductor was injured, and there was damage to the tracks and power supply systems, according to a Telegram update from Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways).
"The enemy continues to target railway infrastructure. During the night, a rocket strike hit one of the railway stations in the Kharkiv oblast. As a result of the attack, a conductor sustained shrapnel injuries to her head. She received first aid but declined hospitalization. Fortunately, there were no fatalities this time", - the report stated.
"Among the damaged were two locomotives, freight and passenger cars. There is also damage to the tracks and power supply systems. The schedules for suburban trains have been adjusted, and long-distance trains continue to operate using reserve locomotives", - the agency noted.
