"Cross Procession" of the UOC-MP will not be able to destabilize the situation in Kiev. It was announced today at the briefing bt head of Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, - reports LІGA.net.

The Minister called on patriotic radical organizations to "cool down".

"Religious act in our country is possible when it does not posee danger to others. If the Church of Moscow Patriarchate has decided to hold an "action", they have this right if among them there are eccentrics who go arm in arm with a portrait of Tsar Nikolay - everyone has the right to be eccentric," - he said.

"There are supposedly titushky who come to overthrow the government and establish "the true, Moscow under Nikolay II" - it's all nonsense. I do not know those titushky who dare to use this situation to destabilize in Kiev," – said the Minister.

Avakov said that today the police forces are aimed at preventing possible provocations in relation to the progress participants. " "What are we worrying about? When a large number of religious people come, it may be used by destructive forces to conduct a terrorist attack?" – said the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Avakov also addressed to the representatives of the radical pro-Ukrainian organizations to "cool down and tighten the energy" adding that the security forces have sufficient resources to keep order on the day of the arrival of "procession" in Kiev.

Today, on July 13th 70 participants of the procession organized by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate arrived in Poltava by bus.

UOC-MP action started on July 3rd in Svyatogorsk in Donetsk region and on July 9th - in Pochaev, Ternopol region. The participants of the course are set to meet on Vladimir Hill in Kiev on July 27th.
