The Ukrainian Defense Forces have struck russian air defense systems in temporarily occupied Crimea. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on June 10.

"Last night, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully struck one S-400 air defense battalion of the occupiers in the Dzhankoi area, as well as two enemy S-300 air defense battalions near Chornomorske and Yevpatoria. None of our launched missiles were intercepted by the 'highly effective' enemy air defense. In particular, in the indicated areas, the radars of the S-300/S-400 systems immediately ceased operation after the strikes by Ukrainian missile forces", - noted the General Staff.

Additionally, further detonation of ammunition was observed in all three areas of the russian air defense battalions' launch positions.

"Thanks to the successful combat operations of the Defense Forces, the air defense of the russian occupiers in Ukrainian Crimea suffered significant losses", - emphasized the General Staff.

As previously reported, explosions were heard in Crimea during the night, with reports of missile strikes on a military facility in the Saky district and another near Yevpatoria.
