Russian occupiers deliberately launched a massive strike on the "Ukrzaliznytsia" (Ukrainian railways) infrastructure in Dnipro and the region on April 19. This was reported by "Ukrzaliznytsia" on Telegram.

"The enemy carried out a deliberate, massive shelling of civilian infrastructure objects belonging to 'Ukrzaliznytsia' in Dnipro and the region. There are injuries among railway workers, and they are receiving medical assistance", - the statement said.

Rescuers are working at the damaged sites, and information about casualties is being clarified.

It is noted that the operation of the Dnipro railway station has been suspended. Long-distance and suburban trains are not currently operating to the Dnipro station: temporary terminal stops are Nyzhniodniprovsk and Horiainove.
