The number of casualties has increased as a result of the missile strike on Kyiv on March 21. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Serhiy Popko and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on Telegram.

"Kyiv. The number of casualties as a result of the enemy attack has increased to 13 (including one child)", - the SES message said.

Popko noted that there is no information about fatalities.

According to the updated information, the consequences of the missile strike on Kyiv are as follows:

In the Podilskyi district:

- debris fell onto the territory of a non-residential building;

- a fire broke out at a transformer substation, extinguished over an area of 200 square meters;

- information about debris falling onto the roof of a residential building with subsequent ignition has not been confirmed;

- a fire occurred on the roof of a non-residential two-story building, extinguished.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district:

- a multi-story residential building was damaged, windows were blown out by the blast wave, a fire broke out in an apartment, and residents are being evacuated;

- three cars caught fire, extinguished;

- debris fell onto the territory of residential buildings between a kindergarten and residential buildings, without negative consequences;

- blast wave damaged the window glazing of a multi-story building;

- a private residential house caught fire.

In the Sviatoshynskyi district:

- information about damage to a preschool educational institution building has not been confirmed;

- damage to a multi-story residential building was recorded - debris fell onto the 4th floor of a 9-story building, windows were blown out by the blast wave;

- car fire extinguished.

Earlier, it was reported that the enemy launched a missile strike on Kyiv, resulting in casualties. Approximately 30 enemy missiles were fired at the capital and its outskirts.
