In the Sumy oblast, five people perished in a house due to the attack by russian forces on the morning of February 20. The Novoslobodska community reported this information on Telegram.
"Today, on February 20, starting from 4:00 in the morning, russian terrorists began shelling the civilian population of the community, first with drones and then with artillery. A drone with explosives hit a residential house where five civilians from the village were located. As a result of the impact, the house was destroyed, and a fire broke out", - the message stated.
Later, the Telegram channel "Kordon.Media", citing the head of the Novoslobodska community, Olha Harkavenko, reported that a family of five perished as a result of the russian forces' strike.
"It is the grandmother, two sons, and their relative who recently arrived from Kyiv. The bodies of all the victims were found under the rubble of the house", - said Harkavenko.
