President Volodymyr Zelensky awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine and presented the Order of the Golden Star to the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhny.
Zaluzhny was accompanied by his wife, Olena, during the award ceremony.
As reported, Valerii Zaluzhny and Kyrylo Budanov have been awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine. The respective decrees No. 61/2024 and No. 57/2024 were published on the website of the Office of the President on February 9.
