On December 18, Yuriy Ihnat, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force, stated in a national Ukrainian TV news marathon broadcast that russia is accumulating various types of missiles and preparing a specific potential for future strikes against Ukraine.

"We understand that the enemy is accumulating certain means. These include cruise missiles, in particular, ballistic missiles, I mean the Iskander-M. Ultimately, such things that have been happening recently are not the first time we have experienced. If we compare it with the fall of this year, the situation was more 'intense' in terms of russian attacks during the summer", - he said.

Ihnat reminded that during that time, the russian army used both cruise missiles and ballistic missiles, as well as drones for attacks on Ukraine.

"Now the enemy, closer to the cold season, has started to use air-launched missiles: Kh-101, Kh-555. We have already seen Iskanders and S-400 missiles used in attacks on Kyiv", - noted the spokesperson.

Ihnat also emphasized that the enemy has a sufficient number of kamikaze drones to daily attack Ukraine from various directions.

As reported, on the night of December 18, five enemy Shahed drones were shot down in the Ukrainian sky.
