Only three multi-story houses are being built in the occupied part of the Donetsk oblast under the preferential mortgage program. This was revealed in an interview with one of the local media outlets by the Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of russia, Irek Fayzullin.
"Now we can say that this process is underway: developers have started construction. In the Donetsk People's Republic, construction of three houses is already underway, where the purchase of apartments at preferential rates is possible", - he said.
Earlier, the government of the aggressor country approved a preferential mortgage program at 2% annual interest for the occupied territories of Ukraine.
Housing construction in the occupied territory of the Donetsk oblast is exclusively taking place in Mariupol. Realtors and developers offer one-bedroom apartments in new buildings starting from $35,000, two-bedroom apartments from $50,000, and three-bedroom apartments from $80,000. Local residents do not have such funds, so the main buyers are incoming military personnel and civilian russians.
