On the night of May 8th, facilities for generating and transmitting electricity were attacked in six regions: the Poltava, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhia, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Vinnytsia oblasts. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy on Telegram.
"Facilities for generating and transmitting electricity were attacked in the Poltava, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhia, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Vinnytsia regions. The consequences are being clarified. Energy workers are already working to eliminate them. The enemy wants to deprive us of the ability to produce and transmit electricity sufficiently. Economical use of electricity is the contribution of each of us to victory. Responsible consumption, especially during morning and evening hours, is particularly important", - the message said.
During the night, russians launched rockets at Ukraine. Explosions were heard in various regions of the country.
