Israel will adopt a more aggressive stance towards russia, promising to assist Ukraine with weapons, according to Amir Weitmann, the head of Israel's ruling party Likud, in an interview with Business Insider, as reported by AZfront.

He pledged that if the war in Ukraine does not conclude by the time Israel resolves its own issues, Israeli weapons will undoubtedly reach Ukraine.

Weitmann emphasized that Israel's Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan's statement of support for Ukraine "did not come out of nowhere". The Ambassador promised to provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with early missile threat warning systems. "This statement was made over the weekend when russia is hosting a meeting between Palestinian factions in moscow", - explained Weitmann.

As reported earlier, russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov hosted a delegation from HAMAS in moscow, led by senior political representative Abu Marzouk. The latter thanked russia "for supporting the Palestinian people".
