Russian occupiers fired on populated areas in the Donetsk oblast 15 times in the last 24 hours. The head of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, reported this on Telegram.
He also provided an update on the operational situation in the region as of the morning of February 28.
"Pokrovsk district: In the Ocheretyne community, 2 houses in Zhelanne and 1 in Novoselivka Persha were destroyed. In the Marinka community, Krasnohorovka and Kostiantynivka were shelled. In the Kurakhove community, 1 person died, and 5 were injured in Hirniak; a house in Kurakhivka and an agricultural enterprise in Ostrovske were damaged; the industrial zone Kurakove was shelled. Pokrovsk was hit by a missile strike - 3 administrative buildings and 15 houses were damaged.
Kramatorsk district: In Iliinivska community, 13 objects were damaged in Kleban-Byk. Outskirts of the Lyman and Kostiantynivka communities were shelled.
Bakhmut district: In the Chasiv Yar community, 10 private houses were damaged. In Shcherbynivka of the Toretsk community, an infrastructure object was damaged. In Serebrianka of Siversk community, a house was damaged", - reported the head of the administration.
As reported earlier, on February 26, occupiers attacked 9 settlements in the Donetsk r, resulting in 3 injuries and housing destruction.
