North Korea has sent around 6700 containers to russia, capable of holding 3 million projectiles of 152mm caliber, according to South Korean Defense Minister Shin Won Sik. Bloomberg reported this, citing the South Korean defense minister.
The pace of ammunition deliveries to the aggressor country increased after putin held a summit with Kim Jong Un in September.
In return, russia supplies North Korea with food, raw materials, and components used in weapons production, said Shin. According to him, the food aid helped stabilize prices for essential goods for Kim. If weapon shipments escalate, russia will send even more military technology to Kim, potentially enhancing Pyongyang's ability to threaten the region.
