In the occupied Zaporizhzhia oblast, russians are planning to create a battalion from Ukrainian prisoners similar to the one previously formed in the occupied Donbas. Traitor and former Ukrainian MP and now leader of the russian occupation's "military-civil administration" in part of the Zaporizhzhia oblast, Yevhen Balytskyi, stated this in an interview with russian media.

"Regarding the number of POWs and how we want to use them… You know that the Bohdan Khmelnytsky Battalion has been formed in Donbas, which has already started its military service. We are also forming something similar here", - he said.

According to Balytskyi, the occupiers are currently going through a coordination process, and soon they will come up with an initiative on how to properly use people who have voluntarily laid down their arms or were captured with weapons.

Balytskyi assured that in the case of Ukrainian prisoners, they "examine each situation individually", emphasizing that it is crucial for them not to have relatives.

"Because when a person is taken captive, the Ukrainian junta takes their relatives, who are on the territory under its control, hostage", - he hypocritically lied.

It was previously reported that occupiers in the Luhansk oblast planned to substitute collaborators instead of Ukrainian prisoners during an exchange, targeting those who did not satisfy them.
