The Pechersky District Court of Kyiv has imposed a pre-trial detention measure on Ukrainian People's Deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky in the form of custody for 60 days. He himself wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
The hearing took place in closed session.
The deputy is suspected of state treason, specifically in destabilizing the socio-political situation in Ukraine and publicly discrediting our state on the international stage. According to the investigation, he spread fake information about the top military and political leadership of Ukraine, including alleged interference by high-ranking officials in the U.S. presidential elections in 2019.
Dubinsky had the callsign "Buratino" and was part of a criminal organization formed by the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of russia.
