The Ukrainian Armed Forces are weakening the occupiers' ability to use Crimea as a staging ground and rear area for operations in southern Ukraine, according to Institute for the Study of War.
The Ukrainian military has been conducting a campaign since June 2023 to block Russian Black Sea Fleet facilities, as noted by analysts at ISW.
"According to ISW assessments, Ukrainian forces began a successful and ongoing campaign of strikes on russian military infrastructure in Crimea in summer 2023, intended to degrade russia’s ability to use Crimea as a key staging and rear area for russian operations in southern Ukraine", - the ISW report stated.
As previously reported, the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence mentioned that the occupiers in Crimea could be targeted anywhere.
