Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podoliak, stated that russia has no interest in negotiations to end the war in Ukraine. He made this statement in his Telegram channel on November 6.

"Who ever said that russia is interested in 'negotiations', 'diplomatic settlement' and other talks about peace? What russia is actually interested in is solely its own non-loss in the war, the mandatory retention of some of the occupied territories, impunity for war crimes, the preservation of the reputation as a key 'rule-breaker' among specific countries, and, most importantly, the compulsory capitulation of Ukraine, which can take various forms. Either 'ultimately disadvantageous agreements', or a prolonged war, or a deep internal political crisis", - wrote Podoliak.

He urged not to harbor illusions regarding russia.

"Peace" for them is merely a tactical pause to undergo military-propagandist modernization and continue systematically undermining democracies... Therefore, weapons, weapons, and once more, weapons for Ukraine. This is the only correct path", - the official emphasized.

Earlier reports indicated that the kremlin commented on Zaluzhny's article.
