Employees of coal enterprises, the Water of Donbas company, and several housing and communal services enterprises in the occupied territory of the Donetsk oblast are owed salaries for part of the second and third quarters. This was reported by a russian official, delegated to the position of "First Deputy Prime Minister of the DNR", Andrey Chertkov, on Telegram.
According to his statements, this issue is "under control at the very top", but much depends on the decisions of the russian Ministry of Finance.
"We are highly dependent on the decisions of the Russian Ministry of Finance and, unfortunately, I must admit, partly on bureaucracy. Even when we think everything is agreed upon, additional questions unexpectedly arise", - Chertkov wrote.
In mid-October, Chertkov claimed that the allocation of funds to repay arrears in wages to utility workers and coal industry employees had been coordinated with the kremlin, and the money would soon be transferred, but it requires a bit more waiting.
