Russian forces launched drone attacks during the night on the Poltava oblast, resulting in a fire at an oil refinery in the city of Kremenchuk. This was reported in Telegram on the morning of November 1 by the head of the Poltava Oblast Military Administration, Filip Pronin.

"Tonight, the enemy repeatedly attacked Poltava using UAVs. The air raid lasted for over four hours. Unfortunately, there was a strike on the oil refinery in Kremenchuk", - he wrote.

According to Pronin, a fire broke out there, which was subsequently extinguished by rescuers. The facility is currently non-operational. Preliminarily, there were no casualties.

The OMA head added that some of the enemy's drones were downed by our defenders.

As reported, Ukraine successfully intercepted a cruise missile and 18 out of 20 attack drones.
