Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SOF) conducted a successful operation named "DRAGONFLY" to target the airfields in Berdiansk and Luhansk, where they destroyed nine russian helicopters, as well as other military equipment and weaponry. This information was reported by the SOF channel on Telegram on October 17th.

"The coordinates and necessary data were provided to the defense forces for the strikes. As a result of the firepower delivered during the night from October 16th to October 17th, the occupiers suffered significant losses", - the message notes.

According to SOF information, in Berdiansk and Luhansk, the following were destroyed:

-        Nine helicopters of various modifications,

-        Special military equipment located at the airfields,

-        An anti-aircraft missile launcher,

-        An ammunition depot,

-        Runways of the airfields were damaged.

SOF further reported that the ammunition depot in Berdiansk exploded until 4 a.m., and in Luhansk, it exploded until 11 a.m.

"The enemy's losses in personnel amount to dozens killed and wounded. Bodies are still being recovered from the rubble", - added the Special Operations Forces.
