The world is rapidly approaching a global war - conflicts that may appear regional on the surface are interconnected and involve the same countries in these processes. This was stated by Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in an interview with Ukrainska Pravda.
"This is my subjective assessment: when you consider the geography as a whole, we see several conflicts that, at first glance, may seem regional, apart from Ukraine, but they are all interconnected and involve the same countries in these processes", - Budanov said when asked if we are on the brink of a Third World War.
In the opinion of the head of the MID, "we are, nonetheless, rapidly approaching a global war".
It's worth noting that earlier, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, identified the risks of reduced support for Ukraine and the danger of a global war.
