Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited the positions of Ukrainian defenders on the Kupiansk-Lyman front. The head of state announced this on his social media page on October 3.
"Today we are visiting our brigades that are carrying out combat tasks on one of the hottest parts of the front - the Kupiansk-Lyman front", - Zelensky wrote.
He noted that together with the commanders and combatants of three brigades, they discussed the operational situation and the needs of the defenders.
"The 103rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade, the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush, and the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade. We discussed the operational situation on the battlefield, current issues, and needs with the commanders and combatants. Every one of our combat brigades, every warrior who destroys occupiers, affirms with every step forward that Ukrainian victory is inevitable. You are power! Thank you for your service!" - emphasized Volodymyr Zelensky.
As reported, on the occasion of Defender of Ukraine Day, President Volodymyr Zelensky awarded some officers of the Armed Forces with general's ranks.
