Occupiers have acknowledged that during the one and a half years of the "special military operation", (SMO) in the "DNR" there have been 670 times more civilian casualties than in the last pre-war year of 2021. This information is based on a statement from the so-called "Representation of the DNR in the JCCC" (Joint Center for Ceasefire Control and Coordination).

The statement notes that from February 24, 2022, to September 25, there have been 4,703 civilian casualties in the occupied territory of the Donetsk oblast, including 139 children.

Previously, the office of the so-called "Ombudsman of the DNR" reported that "from January 1 to December 30, 2021, there were 7 civilian casualties".

Therefore, the number of civilian casualties in the occupied part of the Donetsk oblast during the "special military operation", which was initiated by the kremlin, according to their claims, to save the people of Donbas, has increased by more than 670 times.
