On the night of September 26, russian forces once again attacked the southern Odesa oblast, directing several groups of combat drones towards the Izmail district. This information was reported in Telegram by the Chairman of the Oblast Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.

According to him, the invaders carried out strikes with combat drones on the region for two hours.

"The air defense forces were extremely active. Most of the drones were shot down. Unfortunately, there were hits on the port infrastructure in the Izmail district. Two men, truck drivers, were injured. One of them received medical assistance on the spot, and the other, with a serious hand injury, was hospitalized", - Kiper wrote.

In addition, the attacks resulted in damage to the checkpoint building, warehouse facilities, around 30 trucks, and six trucks caught fire. These fires have now been extinguished.

 


As reported, on September 25, the occupiers attacked the port infrastructure of Odesa, causing significant damage to the buildings of the seaport and hotel, and destroying grain storage facilities.
