Russian dictator vladimir putin has claimed that russia is working on developing weapons "based on new physical principles" that will ensure the country's security in the near future. He said this during the Eastern Economic Forum on September 12, according to russian state media.
"If we look at the sphere of security, then weapons based on new physical principles will ensure the security of any country in the near historical perspective. We understand this perfectly well and we are working on it", - putin said.
TASS reports that "weapons based on new physical principles involve the use of qualitatively new or previously unused technologies and principles of operation. These types of weapons usually include, for example, laser, infrasonic, radio frequency, and others".
It was also reported that putin did not specifically answer a question about the possibility of a second wave of mobilization in russia.
