A strong fire has broken out at the Salut factory in moscow. This was reported on the afternoon of September 7th by the Telegram channel Mash.
According to the channel's information, the fire broke out in a laboratory where sodium was stored. People are being evacuated from the building on Plekhanov Street. Thick black smoke is billowing out of the windows on the third floor.
The Salut factory manufactures ship radars. Since 2022, the facility has been under sanctions from the United States. The fire has been assigned a high priority, as stated in the report.
