President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has proposed the candidacy of Rustem Umerov for the position of Defense Minister of Ukraine. This was stated in the draft resolution on the website of the Verkhovna Rada on September 5th.
Earlier it was reported that the parliament supported the resignation of Resnikov.
