The founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, revealed in a statement to his press service that starting from May 25th, the Wagner PMC will be withdrawing from positions in Bakhmut, and they have no intention of attacking any locations, including Khromove in the Donetsk oblast, for a minimum of two months.

"We are handing over our positions to the Ministry of Defense and ceasing our involvement in the combat zone from the 25th. We have been at war for 428 days, so all tasks that need to be carried out will be undertaken by the courageous units of the Ministry of Defense. We will be retreating to field camps, and as of June 1st, no Wagner PMC fighters will be present on the front lines. Until we undergo restructuring, reequipping and retraining, any claims that the Wagner PMC is storming anything will be fake for the next two months", - Prigozhin stated.

It is worth noting that Serhiy Cherevaty, the spokesperson for the Eastern Group of Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, predicted the complete defeat of the Wagner PMC.
