The occupation "authorities" started checking Gorlovka pensioners for fraud.
"As far as I know, they check residents of Gorlovka receiving a pension of the self-proclaimed DPR: people are asked to go to the post office for comparison of passport details and signature samples. Postmen go to those who cannot come due to health problems and check the data,"- writes journalist Nikita Sinitsyn on hisFacebook page.
According to him, postmen who issue pensions to citizens at home are also checked.
"According to my information, the need of the checks are explained by the increased number of pension frauds which are registered on "fake" beneficiaries, there are cases when pensions are obtained with forged powers of attorney," – wrote the journalist.
