Military intelligence spokesman Vadym Skibitsky stated that the Ukrainian army would go on a counteroffensive in the spring. The official stated this in an interview with the German DW.
"I think we will be ready for a counteroffensive in the spring. One of the strategic goals will be an attempt to "drive a wedge into the russian front in the south - between Crimea and the russian mainland", - Skibitsky stated.
In addition, the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense did not rule out that Ukraine would strike at the territories from which russian attacks were carried out. In particular, this refers to the Belgorod oblast of the russian federation.
"We will stop only when we restore the country within the limits of 1991", - Skibitsky stated.
As previously reported, according to head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov, putin will be forced to withdraw troops from Ukraine, otherwise his regime will face collapse.
