A night attack by missiles and drones will not lead to the need to limit electricity consumption, and there has been no shortage of power in the power system for the fifth day in a row and today, it is also not predicted. Ukrenergo reported this in Telegram on February 16.
The power plants are reportedly producing enough electricity to cover existing consumption, the company added.
All types of power plants in the energy system operate, thermal and hydro generation provide coverage for peak consumption in the morning and evening hours. Electricity imports are declining due to the stabilization of electricity supply in the country. Consumption limits in the oblast have not been given as of today. Measurements of actual consumption are made in accordance with the schedule in the Dnipropetrovsk oblast.
In Odesa, there are still network restrictions due to damaged infrastructure, Ukrenergo added.
"Business is returning to active work, which is reflected in the growth in consumption. Therefore, hourly shutdown schedules are applied to avoid the equipment overload", - the message says.
As reported, on the night of February 16, russian invaders launched 32 missiles at Ukraine, and half of them were shot down by air defense forces.
