The russian occupiers are pulling more and more aircraft to the front in the Luhansk oblast and have intensified shelling of Ukrainian positions. This was reported in Telegram on February 16 by head of the oblast military administration Serhiy Haidai.
"There are constant attacks, heavy equipment and aviation are already being involved. In order to shoot and bomb our positions. But the situation is under control, all these attacks are being repulsed. Equipment is also being destroyed, but there are a lot of occupiers", - the official stated.
The accumulation of planes and helicopters in the Luhansk region means that the invaders are preparing for an offensive, Haidai is sure. At the same time, our defenders are fighting this threat with the help of mobile anti-aircraft systems.
"Even now we see that there are indeed more planes and helicopters. There have been more air strikes on our positions. But it is difficult to place some kind of stationary or large anti-aircraft complex on the front line. Our military, national guardsmen and border guards shoot down planes and helicopters from MANPADS", - Haidai said.
Let us recall that on the eve, the head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration reported that there was an escalation at the front in Bilohorivka and in the Kreminna direction, the russians were attacking in waves with the support of aviation.
