An exhibition of 77-year-old artist Elena Osipova, who opposes the war in Ukraine and the aggressive policy of the russian federation in general, has opened in St. Petersburg. This is said in the message of TK ASTRA.
Ms. Elena is a professional artist. She taught at the art school for many years. She gained fame as the author of a political anti-war poster and a participant in protest actions. The woman was detained by the police many times, and many of her works were confiscated by law enforcement officers or destroyed.
"I’m not afraid, this is my country", - the artist continues to defend her position.
An exhibition of Osipova’s work was opened in the St. Petersburg office of Yabloko. Due to the law "on fakes", some of the artist’s works could not be exhibited.
