3 people were killed and 7 more were injured in Zaporizhzhia as a result of a russian missile attack on a critical infrastructure facility in the Zaporizhzhia district. This is reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
"Under the procedural leadership of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings has been launched on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). According to the investigation, on January 26, 2023 at 3:40, russian troops launched missile attacks on a critical infrastructure facility in the Zaporizhzhia district from the S-300 air defense system. Preliminarily, 3 people were killed and 7 more were injured. Technical equipment and facilities were destroyed. After the explosion, a fire broke out on the territory of the enterprise, which has now been eliminated", - the message said.
It is added that at about 10:00 during the investigation and search and rescue operation at the scene, this infrastructure facility was shelled again. Information about the victims is being clarified. Pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out by investigators of the SBU Department in the Zaporizhzhia oblast.
