U.S. officials promised that they would teach Ukrainian officers how to use Patriot air defense systems in 10 weeks. This was stated by Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov, - ArmyInform writes.
During a conversation with representatives of critical infrastructure, the head of the Defense Ministry stressed that Ukraine’s successes on the battlefield would not have been possible without significant help from allies.
"Today’s war, which is a war in motion, is supported by the resources of our partners, but most importantly, by the spirit and will of Ukraine. And I believe that one should always be able to say thank you". Previously, we could not even dream of what they would give us, for example, Patriot, which costs a billion dollars, and the preparation, which is 10 months, is minimal. Today, there is a decision that our officers will be trained in 10 weeks. Such obligations were assumed by the American partners", - Reznikov noted.
He also added that Ukraine’s allies believe in its victory in the war with russia and want to become partners in this victory.
As reported, on January 16, it became known that the Ukrainian military arrived in the USA in order to begin training in the controlling of Patriot systems.
