Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could be an effective mediator between russia and Ukraine, but putin is not interested in real negotiations. This was stated by adviser to the head of the Office of the President Mykhailo Podolyak, - the I24 TV channel reports.
"I have no doubt that Netanyahu can be an effective mediator since he understands precisely what modern wars are and what is the essence of mediation under these conditions", - Podolyak stated.
Along with this, according to Podolyak, russia does not want there to be a real negotiation.
"Russia only wants to negotiate the keep the status quo, and most recently, to agree on a ceasefire to upgrade its army, which turned out to not really know how to fight", - the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office noted.
As previously reported, Israel financed millions of dollars of strategic materials for Ukraine and allowed it to supply weapons with its components.
